Welcome!
Hello and welcome to the Sea Dreamers newsletter! Each month, we’ll be sharing updates on upcoming events and community highlights, in tandem with Cat’s newsletter. Thank you for being part of our mission to build more inclusive ocean spaces!
February Event Recap: Sarah’s Santa Barbara Hang
At the beginning of February, our Santa Barbara-based Ambassador, Sarah Enix, hosted a lovely morning ocean dip. The function included coffee, bagels, and an ocean clean up- which sounds like the perfect Saturday morning to us. We love events like this that provide opportunities for those who may not feel comfortable in the water to dip their toes in!

Look at all this trash!!!!
Thank you Josh for supporting Sea Dreamers!
Upcoming Events: Sausalito Period Kit Making
March 9th, 5:30pm, Sausalito
We’re incredibly excited to partner with Sequel Tampons to host a period supply kit-making night. We’ll have food, we’ll have an optional ocean swim, and we’ll have about 9,500 tampons to package for distribution to women and girls in the Bay Area who lack sufficient feminine hygiene products. Join us and make a tangible impact- register here!

Many girls quit their sport around 13, when puberty and their period starts. We are providing resources to girls in low income areas so they can continue playing their sport comfortably!
Swim California Updates
After months of ideating, the Swim California logo has officially been unveiled! Created in collaboration with Victoria Feng, an incredibly talented designer and Cat’s close friend, the logo was designed as a piece of art that tells the Swim California story, layered with intention and meaning.
The “International Orange” mirrors the iconic hue of the Golden Gate Bridge, a tribute to Cat’s home and training grounds. The splash of women diving into the water echoes the flowing movement of kelp, a vital and defining element of California’s coastal ecosystem.
To celebrate this design, 30 limited-edition prints are available for purchase, each numbered and signed by Cat. All proceeds directly support Sea Dreamers, helping advance our mission to protect and connect people to the ocean.
