March Event Recap: Sea Dreamers x Sequel
At the beginning of March, our Sausalito-based ambassador Julia Harbaugh hosted a Period Kit Making Night in partnership with Sequel. Founded by former athletes turned engineers, Sequel is on a mission to create more reliable tampons designed specifically for active women. Thanks to the generosity of the Sea Dreamers community, we were able to purchase and distribute over 15,000 tampons to women and girls with limited access to feminine hygiene products.
Thank you to everyone who donated and attended this event, and to Julia for organizing such an impactful night!
Upcoming Events: Mussel Harvest & Catherine to Speak in La Jolla
We’re thrilled to join our SF-based Ambassador Catie for a Mussel Harvesting event this Sunday, April 5th at China Beach. If you’re into mussels, this event is for you! If you don’t know anything about mussels, this event is also for you! Register here, spots are extremely limited.
Later this month, Cat is in La Jolla for a speaking engagement. Swing by for an opportunity to meet Catherine and hear more about the Swim California story! The event is taking place at Coggan Family Aquatic Complex on April 26th, at 2:30pm PT.
